A demo shows the world what computers could become
In San Francisco, Douglas Engelbart gave a ninety-minute presentation later called The Mother of All Demos. In one sitting he showed the computer mouse, on-screen windows, hypertext links, and live video collaboration, sketching how we would all use computers decades later.
